A roof comes with two different warranties. We keep them separate so you always know who stands behind what.
10-year workmanship warranty
Our own written warranty on the labor and installation we perform, for ten years from the date your roof is substantially complete. If something we installed is not right, we come back and make it right. This is our promise, not a manufacturer's.
Manufacturer material warranty
The shingle or membrane manufacturer warrants the materials themselves against defects, on their own terms and length. We install to manufacturer spec so that coverage stays intact.
What the workmanship warranty covers
It covers our labor and workmanship. Manufacturer warranties apply separately to the materials themselves. Coverage runs from the date of substantial completion.
What it does not cover
Damage from misuse, neglect, accidents, alterations, natural disasters, or normal wear and tear, and damage caused by work done by others, is not covered.
How claims work
Warranty claims are made in writing within the warranty period, in compliance with Oregon law (ORS 701.320). Your estimate spells out the workmanship term and exactly what is and is not covered before you sign, so there is no fine print you find out about later.
Your 10-year workmanship warranty is included with every roof we install, and we hand you the written terms before any work begins.
